Philadelphia Frontrunners is a group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender runners and our friends. The group has existed since 1983.
We meet for our regular run between 9:30 - 9:45 am on Saturday mornings in front of Lloyd Hall, at the southern end of Boathouse Row on the Schuylkill River; the address is 1 Boathouse Row. Most of us run 5 miles, but some start earlier and run farther, and others walk or jog a shorter distance. We try to finish at the same time so that we can have brunch together at a nearby diner.
You are welcome to simply show up and join us!
Lately, interested members have also been meeting on Monday evenings at 6:45 pm in front of the William Way Center at 1315 Spruce Street. These runs are arranged on a week-by-week basis, so please contact us to be put in touch with the person who leads them.
