Philadelphia Frontrunners is a group for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender runners and our friends. The group has existed since 1983.

Our regular run begins at 9:30 am on Saturday mornings in front of Lloyd Hall, at the southern end of Boathouse Row on the Schuylkill River; the address is 1 Boathouse Row. Most of us run 5 miles, but some start earlier and run farther, and others walk or jog a shorter distance. We try to finish at the same time so that we can have brunch together at a nearby diner.

You are welcome to simply show up and join us!

Interested members also meet on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm in front of the William Way Center at 1315 Spruce Street. Please contact us to be put in touch with the organizers.

You may use the "contact us" form linked above or email <philadelphiafrontrunners@gmail.com> if you have any questions about the group.

NOTICE: The weekend of September 20-21 is our anniversary weekend. Our regular Saturday run will be moved to the Visitor’s Center between 5th & 6th Sts on North side of Market St around 9:30 am. This is our annual fun run where we run over the Ben Franklin bridge and then back to Reading terminal market.
